THIS VIDEO IS PURELY FOR SOUND
ENJOYMENT PURPOSES
, NOT TO RAISE
YOUR ADRENALINE (OR JUDGEMENT)

THIS VIDEO ISN'T ABOUT SPEED
IT'S PURELY ABOUT SOUND

WE HAVE THE LEGENDARY R6
A NOT SO 5:30 TODAY
BUT ON PURPOSE, AS I DIDN'T WANT TO
WAKE UP MY NEIGHBORS

OH MAN, I REALLY LOVE THOSE DOWNSHIFTS

STARTING TO GET TIRED OF THE RIDING POSITION
I'M THINKING A TUNNEL WOULD BEST
SUIT THE SOUND
OH, THERE'S ONE

IDIOT #1: GOES THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION
IDIOT #2: GOES THROUGH TWO LANES
WITHOUT EVEN USING INDICATORS
JUST TWO EXCUSES TO HEAR THAT SOUND ;]

THANKS FOR WATCHING

Yamaha YZF R6. Friend had one and I rode it. There are some things about this bike you ought to know Slay. First those ones in the videos you've posted have aftermarket pipes on them, so it won't sound like that right out of the box if you get it new. Even without the modifications the bike is very fast, I rode it both ways.

The R6 really doesn't want to go slow, you give it a little throttle and it'll go strong, then a little more and it give you more than you might have asked for. If the Gixxer (GSXR600) feels like riding on a pop can, the YZF's feel like sitting on a diamond. You feel it on your crotch and stomach and arms.

When the road is clear you won't be able to resist opening it up. What the acceleration looks like in videos is nothing compared to the reality of these bikes including that one. It'll give you adrenaline as it sucks the air out of your helmet like a vacuum. One doesn't simply just breathe when they have the sensation of being whipped around like a fly at the end of a fishing rod. But very smoothly. You'll then marvel at how such a thing is street legal. Friend let his biker uncle ride it after he said it looks like a girl bike, by the time he came back he took back everything he ever said about sport bikes.

The R6 isn't an entry level bike, it can either spit you off or flip over, but a lot of new riders get them anyway. The handlebars don't turn much on that bike, you'll really need to lean it in even when making a stop to go sharp left at a street light. The rest of course is all push steering. Do not drop this bike either, you'll be surprised how expensive it is. Get fairing protectors for God sake.

You're going to get into an accident too. Every single sport biker I've met got into at least 1 accident, I myself totaled my first Ninja, but after that you'll drive real good. Things like your rear tire swerving when braking will happen, that's because you never applied enough rear brake, you'll eventually knock it off and if your lucky, you won't swerve it while changing lanes, it's pretty freaky.

People who work in insurance strongly advise against riding any motorcycle, as they claim to know the truth of how much of a complete horrorshow of insurance claims are made.

If you don't know how to manual works, don't give up at the course even if you mess up badly. Once you complete your riders safety course you'll have a hard time waiting to get your bike, and the day you do. You'll experience one of the best days of your life. Jet pilots suggest they feel more free on their bikes, and I wouldn't doubt it. For this reason you really don't want too many tickets cause at this point losing your riders privilege will be like having your soul amputated.

cool slay, this is a great way to get a rush

i had a bike for a while, almost became dead several times so sold it off

i've seen two people die in front of me on motorcycles, so respect for the machine is a bonus.

Another thing about that bike. The windshield is very small but not a problem. The seating position will make you sore after a while, and the seat is hard. You'll want to consider getting an aftermarket seat.

Finally, if the sound matters Yoshimura exhausts kits are very popular for R6. The full jetting kit for this exhaust provides an additional 10HP which is a lot considering weight to horsepower.

Notice the fairing protectors. Those will save you a lot of grief.
