wait but then people would just frame other people for crimes to get money so never mind

So... the Death Penalty's okay now?
I still don't see how your financial compensation model is supposed to be okay, even barring people framing:
"I might have PTSD Rape Trauma and a baby with the face of my rapist now, but at least my family has money. If I save up a little more, it'll almost be enough for me to afford the therapy costs!"
"My son... is dead, my sixteen year old son will never come back... But at least his murderer is paying for all the years it took me to raise him, and I can spend it on whatever I want!"
What happens if someone's responsible for multiple crimes, do they have to work twice as many hours or are the funds split among the victims?
nah, too many people get accused of rape that actually did not do the rape. same thing with murder. there have been several people exonerated with new DNA evidence and let go after being in prison for 30 years. WTF, that would suck.
"oooops. sorry"
At least a dead mistake doesn't potentially have to deal with as much time wasted as a living one.

Yeah exactly that doesnt work
Death penalty for rape is too much, considering the false accusations.
What is the death penalty not too much for?

DNA Evidence Exonerates a Man of Murder After 20 Years in Prison
He was convicted by a jury “based on his truck, lies he told at the police interview about their affair and the watch,” Mr. Semanchik said.
our justice system is not perfect, jurys can be swayed to find people guilty.
this is why you need to be extremely careful when you talk to police, they may be targeting you as a suspect
If rape = death penalty. Then so should false accusations of it.
While false claims of rape aren't great, is it really as extreme as raping someone?
Yes, it ruins lives permanently over something that never happened.
