its immoral because for child rapists its a gateway into their eventual crimes, where they often rape and murder children, only after collecting and watching 100's of hours of footage of child pornography...
like just according to criminal research, from evidence collected by police. majority of child rapists and murderers, first, start with pornography obviously, become addicted and obsessed, and then eventually that serves as a stepping stone to committing the actual crime.
it's not theoretical either, it's just fact.

And by the gateway logic, we should ban gore and movies with murder because it might incite people to murder, movies with bank robberies etc.

Gore is not as compelling and psychologically addicting as sexual gratification and reward, at a chemical and psychological level.
The way that pornography is addicting for men is far more, serious than just watching a violent movie. They don't compare in the chemical release that can be exhibited by an MRI.
The deep emotional and neurological issues associated with child pedophilia as well is more compelling and what draws the people to the pornogrpahy in the first place and then eventually to the child abducting. The murder isn't often for gratification but just an attempt to tie up loose ends. Or they will just keep the child as long as they can chained somewhere underground usually. Sometimes impregenating them into their teens repeadetely.
But yeah the, chemical and psychological addiction to pornogrpahy is far more compelling and more complex in nature than, just anyone watching a scary or violent movie. A lot of variable are involved that result in this repeated formula.

Pedophile + Child porn = psychological and chemical addiction
This addiction is compelling at the neurological and psychological level that is just as extreme as any other addiction, and they will go to any length to receive the gratification again.
Decentization + Longing for connection, touch, basic human relations (but with a minor) becomes stronger = meditation on abducting a child
Addiction + ^ above = child abduction and rape, then eventual murder
