its immoral because for child rapists its a gateway into their eventual crimes, where they often rape and murder children, only after collecting and watching 100's of hours of footage of child pornography... 

like just according to criminal research, from evidence collected by police. majority of child rapists and murderers, first, start with pornography obviously, become addicted and obsessed, and then eventually that serves as a stepping stone to committing the actual crime. 

it's not theoretical either, it's just fact. 

and then obviously subjecting a child to that sort of thing is wrong on so many levels, but from a medical and psychological perspective it's unhealthy for the child and will result in life long "damage" to them, mentally, emotionally, physically- including neurologically, and psychologically. 

children with trauma have a higher likelihood of developing depression, anxiety, ptsd/c-ptsd, personality disorders that are debilitating. a certain rate of them will attempt or commit suicide, try drugs, overdose, and turn to life of dysfunction, potentially homelessness. Sexual promiscuity, sexual or emotional stunting, or perpetuating the cycle abuse on others, or other children can occur. Relational problems will occur for the child as they attempt to develop friendships, romantic relationships, etc. And healthy boundaries will be difficult, creating a slew of eating disorders, substance abuse disorders, recklessness, self harm, delinquency, etc. Poor immune health as a result of depression creates a higher risk for disease, especially cancer. PTSD can result in digestive disorders, some of which have unknown causes, and are untreatable. Unknown neurological disorders, involving chronic pain can result from childhood trauma as well. 

This is just the beginning of the profound impact children subject to pornography and rape as a minor will have to endure the rest of their lives. 

Often children who are raped have internal bleeding and ruptures, which require surgical intervention, stitches and sutures, medical attention. Their injuries can have a life long impact, on their genitals, anus, pelvic bone, internal organs, and esophagus. Teens forced to carry a child before their body is ready can result in life long and irreversible osteoporosis. These are the children lucky enough to survive the trauma, which is statisically less likely. Majority of the time they are violently raped, and then violently murdered and left in a ditch somewhere, hardly recognizable, to decompose inside of a plastic bag. 

Only 1% of reported missing children are found annually, and of that, only half are found alive.

And by the gateway logic, we should ban gore and movies with murder because it might incite people to murder, movies with bank robberies etc.
