My point exactly.
Or they might become the next Ted Bundy. Could go either way, really.
In a lot of cases, the very behaviors that repel people are symptomatic of worse behaviors that'd have it not work out otherwise.

You'd think that. But sometimes....People like that just get confused and discover a new world for themselves.
I chat with and treat people who don't deserve respect with respect and genuine affection. And it leaves them confused, because people like me usually ignore them. It's a funny little effect, really, but it usually changes them over the long term. That's right, I make superheros. That's my superpower. I'm a glass man.
I bring the best of everyone.
I've mostly seen people be given chances who maybe shouldn't have based on base symptoms, and often it doesn't seem to end well for obvious reasons telegraphed early on.
But if you're a good Christian you should believe that everyone is intrinsically good and beautiful.

Misconception. Christians actually believe everyone is a sinner and needs mercy.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

Yes, but what did Jesus do? Imagine he rejected all of the ugly and rotten people. Wouldn't be much of a story, would it?
He said "sin no more" and told them to change.
No he didn't. He invited that scammer to have dinner with him and treated him with respect. And what happened? The evildoer burst in tears and swore he will right all his wrongs. That could've happened if you had just hugged that person following you. They're all just victims of circumstances.
