Literally... I was just leaving the store it wasn't that late but it's already dark because it's around winter. This man in a truck starts yelling "Are you ok?". I said "Yeah...". He gets out of his truck and starts following me! He says "Can I have a hug?". I said "No...". Then he keeps following me for a few blocks. I'm getting like scared. Then he says "Can I take you to dinner sometime?". I said "No, I only date Christians". He says "How come?". I'm like "... cause that's what I do...". He's still following me and says "Can I shake your hand?". Then he's like "Can I have your number?". SO I GIVE HIM MY NUMBER just so he LEAVES me alone. Then he calls to make sure I didn't give him a fake. He finally leaves. I blocked his number right after he left. Like that's NOT ok.
Next time please just go back to the store and let the clerk know what happening or get a taxi/Lyft/Uber instead of just walking on ahead. It sucks but it's better to be safe
agreed. also tell them u have a bf, and maybe that ur about to meet him lmao.
They can call your number even after you block it; with another phone.
Just assume the worst, head back to a store, and be unbearably rude if you must say something. Long winded insults give you time to run your mouth, and assess the situation.
Never try to strong arm the male. Never let him touch you.
You were entirely too nice, and he will use kindness against you.
Some people aren't born to be blessed with tragedy in their blood.
