post photos you think makes good wall art
or just artsy shit in general i guess
any art form.
art thread.
anything, that is considered art or pertaining to art :)
can someone please tell me what artist this was, he was like known for the black and white dark chunky paintings like this. it was considered minimalist art, early 90's, he lived in new york and had an art studio there that was filled with these kind of paintings.
they're all *very* expensive... he is one of my favorite artists but i forgot his name and i can't read the signature.
i've been trying to look up his art forever and have only been able to find people copying the artistic style (for cheap and not good at all)
but I finally found an original painting (difficult to do when you've forgotten the fucking name of the artist)
and... WHATS HIS FUCKING NAME lol surely one of you art nerds knows it
he's known for this type of painting... very famous.

This artist might be my 3-year-old cousin. If I had a 3 y-old cousin. It is no wonder you can't read the signature of someone who probably can't write.
I used to have the name of the artist in my art studies book but I have this weird compulsive habit of giving books to people after I've finished them XD
It's like I get really excited about how good it was and I'm like
and then later i'm like
and now I have no books.
Hi my name is blanc and I'm a compulsive book-giver.

It just arouses my protest against lazy art, like much of Ives Klien's works do for me:

I think they spend hours deliberating on these 'art pieces'. And they still believe its art at the end.
