Suicide is selfish as it leaves others to suffer and it is not def smart and it is the easy way

how can people say suicide is easy? its not fucking easy or i would have done it already
your body and mind struggle and fight against dying the entire time thats not easy. but I am highly sensitive and have a lot of overehelming emotions so maybe thats why i cant see your perspective

I feel like we've hit a point as a species where people killing themselves off won't really harm it as much anymore, plus what people actually have real, discernible potential that's worth keeping around?

There's suicidal people who try to be "responsible" over it by pushing everyone away so that they'll be "missed less". In general many figure that it wouldn't really hurt them much "if they left".

Speaking from experience, it takes real willpower and dedication to kill yourself.
I'm mostly alive from failing to break my own "will to live" down enough to succeed. It takes real commitment (or passion) to get it done, I'd never claim it's easy.

It is easier than living.
Being dead is easier than being alive, but doing the deed to rush your way there isn't.
To me it's really the same for us as a whole, some people committing suicide mostly renders them a statistic that, itself too, will be wiped from the face of time in time. None of it really matters beyond short term interpersonal connections (I think these are important in a personal sense to me, but I'm not important, sooo...).

It does not leave others to suffer, the rest about it is still true. How did you get that its okay? As for those, they are fools, they just make it worse.

You need to cheat your instincts for a few moments unless you pick some hard suicide methods. I have not killed myself, so I can't be sure, but I have cheated my instincts.
People committing suicide is not relevant to the species, atm. That does not mean that its not the easier path, its not selfish and its smart.
