If everyone does it, you can't ban them all. <<< This is what Edvard is trying to accomplish.
No one else is doing it though.
Mob mentality game with snowball effect that requires some time--just like in Luna's case. Once started, it can't be stopped anymore by means of communication.
Even Inquirer doesn't agree with him, as we saw in at least one or two topics about the subject.
Have you asked yourself why Inquirer doesn't agree with him? Or are you satisfied with the fact he just doesn't?
I mean we've had multiple discussions over the years on policy (and other fun stuff too~), and from it I feel like I can gauge themes for his moral adjustments.
Inquirer threw Primal under the bus like the rest of us did. But not only to have a site to participate on, he also seems to get along with Good and is allowed to edit the sites' code, something Luna never was open for.
Inquirer's follower trait dominates his character. He would never host SC himself, that somebody else does but he still has authority is the ideal position for him.
Inquirer follows Edvard, MissCommunication follows Inquirer.
I'd argue that they both follow him. He doesn't openly praise either of them, he just accepts their praise like some sort of Spock totem.
I'd imagine it to be easy to follow a leader who gives no orders.
MissCommincation likes to act relevant, she acts on her own often. Moreover, Inquirer has more influence on her than Edvard does without doubt.
Edvard gives indirect orders, makes him more bearable. He gets himself all worked up on a subject and waits for people to side with him.
Neither Inquirer or MissCommunication give a shit about Edvard's Primal-Sturm88 struggle.
There's also low tier members who don't have much impact on the site but still side with this group all the time, which makes them the majority in the end usually.
When you rid of that lot though you can still tend to see theme-ing numbers.
The majority disagrees with you without uninformed help, but being disagreed with is not a reason to keep someone down... Flooding is.
You are very fixed on the "flooding" subject. Is it really that annoying to clean up?
If Inquirer sided with Edvard, that alone would have a huge impact on Good considering Inquirer does coding stuff for the site and Good trusts him not to make a copy of his forum software and throw Good over.
What if he was against you without siding with Edvard? There's more reasons to oppose your choices than being "Ed-like".
Inquirer is dense like Edvard, their way of thinking is the same, not only on the mod power subject. Edvard is additionally more primitive, while Inquirer has a fancy vocabulary.
You might not see through it now, but you will eventually.
