With the deletion of the sociopath-community website, the Jim/CS saga, the Chapo/Med love story, and the shift of power to Good, 2019 surely has marked a seismic shift in the power structure of sociopath community.
Instead of commenting on general shifts, I thought I'd take a more micro approach and reflect on how things have changed for each individual member. Perhaps through this we can find more general shifts in the SC social and political ecosystems. I'll start with major players from last year and go from there.
Luna Prey-
Ooooooweee! Boy has this one been through the ringer. Last year she of course, was the modest goddess modess of SC. Unfortunately, following the Luciferian track the power went to her head and so did her ego. She couldn't help but Ban critics, rig Senate elections, and impose unpopular updates. Consequently, a coalition of shitposters dedicated to baiting Luna into madness formed. Much to Luna's untimely regret, they successfully triggered in her a rage so powerful, she pressed the big red button on everything she.... And all of us had created. Luckily, Good came up clutch and made SC with no hyphen. Since then she's desperately been cooking up scheme after scheme to win back a userbase to hilarious failure, and has went from owner to a total joke meme. Wheel in the sky keeps on turning. I guess there was a Lunar Eclipse.
Edvard-
Edvard enjoyed a comfortable time period as Luna's top henchman and Jim's beheader (except he kept growing back his head). Like Luna, the shitposter squad targeted him, and from me he produced some of my greatest photo editing. When Luna lost power to Good, it just wasn't the same to him. He resigned to being Primal's valiant defender when Good wouldn't let her be on new SC in a compelling role reversal from executioner to rebel. Eventually he got bored and found life outside SC. That's where he is now.
Xadem-
The beloved head of the shitposter league, this guy has adapted pretty well to the shift in power. Yep, indeed Xadem is still being Xadem to this day. He isn't active as much but when he is he acts the same. As somebody with a preference for sameness, I can appreciate that.
Turncoat-
Turncoat used to be pretty much gone on SC ever since Edge Community.... So we thought. But no, this little ninja was hidden in blackface as BBCboingo. Nobody would suspect the eloquent historian of SC to choose such a lewd name, huh? He worked subtly to undermine Luna and enjoyed every moment of it. Then he won. He should get the trophy for Machiavellianism. Nowadays he enjoys a lofty mod position and uses his main account name again. TC is as TC as ever.
Jim-
The man, the myth, the scam legend. Jim was completely and totally banned when Luna was in charge. With her henchman Ed, he was banned time and time again. What did he do? He used a VPN and made many new accounts. Then what? She started making post counts to post pics and adding rep systems. He still found a way around it. Additionally he DDOS'd the website over and over. One could say that no man influenced more of the code of Luna's site than Jim. He played her like a fiddle. Now he's on new SC, still playing people like a fiddle. People such as ChallengeSeeker, whom he bitchslapped.
Good-
The behind the scenes creator of EC, Good was never a super prominent SC user, instead preferring discord and PF. However, after Luna nuked SC he simply rebooted the EC site and made it SC. He kept a lot of the same mods too. In retrospect it's rather fitting. He used to randomly comment on how broken Lunas site was. He even called me interesting one as TFI. He's faced some challenges as the leader, like Cawk, and critics. This is normal as a forum leader on SC. I hope he takes it all well and continues to lead SC as good as he has been. I like the polls too.
Spatial Mind-
Tony was pretty much the same on SC4. When Luna narc raged on Inq she made Tony a mod. Now he's a mod on new SC. His personality is still unapologetically Tony. The Buddha of SC.
Inquirer-
Inquirer, while very active on SC4, does not seem to be so active anymore. He's still a mod though. On SC4, he gradually shifted from Luna loyalist to kekposter. Luna didn't like that, so she unmodded him. This is what helped trigger the events leading to the end of SC4.
MissCommunication, SeerX, and Trouble-
These longtime SC users do not appear to have changed at all.
TPG-
Teeps seemed to burn out after the Alice drama. I haven't seen him much on here since. He did pioneer the SC shit post though, so credit where credit is due.
AliceInWonderland-
Alice herself is the same, but she did introduce one change to SC... That change is:
Palepeach-
One of the most recent SC members, Alice's girl. She joined sometime after delora's cx stream. I think that whole saga made her interested enough to join, I'm not sure. She's wasted no time integrating into the SC ecosystem seamlessly. She only saw my worst, which kind of sucks. Nowadays she's one of the most major members. Believe it or not I actually like her pretty well despite my shit talking, shes a solid addition to the cast.
Tryptamine-
Trypt hasn't changed much, but he's changed blanc. A lot.
Blanc-
This histrionic spaz is still as histrionic and as spastic as ever. Trypt injured her pretty badly which resulted in severe alterations to her persona. She went from queen gay to clingy and straight in just a month or so. She's been conflicted on this but it's obvious what the truth is.
Lena, Cain, and Sugar
They were largely absent on SC4, and both returned to the forum this year.
AboutBarrel-
This guy has been on a journey. Looking back on his relationship with PhallusSeeker, I bet he must have not even known how to feel about the Jim shit. I hope he's doing well.
BillyB-
He's back super recently but he pretty much stuck to the Lunasylum until Luna nuked it. A loyalist to the queen to the very end...
Primal and Cawk-
They are both on Goods bad side. Henceforth, they are not here now.
ChallengeSeeker-
Now, we are getting to the casualties. CS is gone. This site ate her alive. It mocked her, doxxed her, cocked her, and blocked her. In the end she left with a black eye and aborted child. She was kicked from her school, she was ruined. And she deserved it, because she was a maniacal bitch.
Spite- Another guy who fucked PhallusSeeker, hasn't changed.
Medbedhead-
I remember her flipping out on discord at Cadaver and never seeing her on here. Now I see her flipping out on new SC at Chapo. Go figure.
Chapo-
Was there, got locked up, was gone, came back. Now being stalked by med.
Scarlett-
Yet another casualty, Scarlett was harassed by some guy named Shifty until she quit. Now she dismissed this place as unvaluable junk. Too bad, she was a good cast member. At least we got Peach to replace her.
Delora-
She's off and on, and very much the same.
Me-
Was king of SC, narc raged over Waltz video, alienated everyone, am creeping on ah come up now.
IN CONCLUSION:
Many people stayed the same.
Relationship dramas made some members leave.
Old cast members resurfaced.
Mods mostly stayed in place.
Blanc flipped sexual orientation.
Leadership changes resulted in some leaving, some being banned, and some coming back.
Fall is still pretty active.
Some got bored and left.
Just business as usual here on Sociopath Community.
