Dragonflies
The difference there is in sheer volume: I don't need like 20+ topics in a row to have people pay attention to me
You made a thread asking if you should condense Cawk's spazz. Most people said yes, yet you didn't. You chickened out of it because you feared retaliation from similar shit-posting spazzes.
Actually, I was busy for most of the day and by the time I'd come back people'd already started having replies in them and many of them weren't even on page one anymore. It was then I decided to make the topic instead of just doing shit without talking about it.
I prefer open lines of communication and warnings so that there's no confusion, and showing how much others are on board with it expresses how it's not just "my problem".
And here you are again, bitching about it, but refusing to take action. This is why you made a terrible mod during cp attacks. At least take a decision and stick with it, ffs.
Yet you triggered far more CP posting than I ever did...
Funny how that works, yeah?

You had months as sole moderator on SC amidst the cp posters, Turncoat. Funny how I put an end to the dead summer of CP doom over which you reigned. Lack of action = stagnation. And stagnation is bad when the situation you're in is shitty.

There was no CP for those months, until you'd come back and complain anyway. With only people left who didn't care about it, they stopped posting it.
What did more damage was the illusion of CP posting potential, as well as people like Sugar ranting about it constantly to try to get others to stay away for their own unrelated reasons.
People are now jaded by it and know the forum will rid of it in time. What before was people complaining about it being up for more than two minutes is now hours of patience while avoiding obvious click baits.

"CP stopped being posted when everyone except me and the CP posters were chased away."
Your way of completely missing the point is comical, when it's not infuriating, LMAO.

That "illusion" was in place because the SC management was limp-dicked about tolerating that crap on the forum. Luna was not putting up measures, and you were buddying up with the CP posters hoping to appease them with friendliness and ass licking.
Changing this "submission to CP posters" made all the difference and drew people back in, and years later, you're still too blind to see it, or too narcy to admit it.
as well as people like Sugar ranting about it constantly to try to get others to stay away for their own unrelated reasons.
Some people saw CP for the first time in their life, then. I'm among them, and trust me, I've seen some really violent and disturbing shit in my life. But there is something about seeing a baby with a pencil in its ass or a little girl sucking a dog's dick that some people would rather avoid than become "jaded" to, bro.

Well thankfully it's not up to you solely anymore, and with that CP is gone and the userbase is active.
It'd be exactly what it was before if you were handling it the same way here, even without Luna. Your strategy of being "the savior of the forum" is what gave them a real, entertaining powerleveling goal in the first place.
Seriously man, we'd be right back at everyone having Captchas and other bullshit if they saw you as who they had to deal with.

But I am not, am I. I am acting as needed when needed, while you are... not acting. Which is fine, when there's no need for it, but when the fucking forum was dead, there WAS a need for it.

What was your strategy for saving the form, TC? Wait, you had none.
I am not saying I was savior of the forum. Mike and Luna putting up cyber measures and Inquirer's support as the other mod were key. The CP empowerment was given by you, stirring up shit against me and the banning policy. After Luna took a side and silenced you boat rockers and Jim cheer-leader team, and you ran off to EC, things cooled down and people could finally go back to interacting normally on SC.
Seriously man, we'd be right back at everyone having Captchas and other bullshit
"Everyone? "I don't think I've ever had to use CAPTCHAS to post on SC. And neither did most regular users. Only the new accounts had to deal with it.
I suppose time has been my consolation prize.
At this point, you not understanding the what's and why's is now not a hindrance towards having a functional forum. Where before I felt a stronger need for you to understand your contributions to the problem, it's nice to be able to "Agree to Disagree" without collateral damages.

I think the hardest part for you was seeing that the forum could function very well without you as mod, or even you in it. Your very theory of me "ruining SC" was legit proven shit.
It was after that that you had your meltdown, trying to bring down the forum.
Ironically enough, Luna is going through the same phase now.

Except it got better when you started doing next-to-nothing, being absent almost constantly from being busy with your so called "real life". I didn't need to know if the place would be better with or without me, as not being needed or whatever is kind of nice, but it still was a remarkable self demonstration about how your attendance affects trolls.
Also, if you're calling what her forum became "functional", then you're bordering on ego convenience delusions.
It was after that that you had your meltdown, trying to bring down the forum.
I was trying to bring down the forum because of how shitty it was becoming and how complacent people became with her leadership. She needed to be dethroned so that we could move onto the next stage. To quote a certain show of ours:
Game of Thrones said:Dany: "If he dislikes one monarch, he conspires to crown the next one. What kind of servant is that?"
Varys: "The kind the realm needs. Incompetence should not be rewarded with blind loyalty."
It's basically that quote in a nutshell. If this place ever goes to shit in similar ways, you can bet I'd do what I must for the forum, but I don't suspect that it will in these hands and that helps me relax.
