While I do agree on many accounts with this description, I'd say this is closer to changing goal posts to always feel like a winner.

Cawk is absurdly defensive. It is not about winning, it is a deep fear of losing, coming from someone who experienced it a lot in life.

Isn't that almost the same thing?

No. There's a big difference of mentality between people driven by love of winning, and those driven by fear of losing. As a competitive guy dealing with competitive guys, I know what I'm talking about.

I always kinda figured that those who want to win don't want to lose, and that those who don't want to lose want to win. While there can be a fixation more on one word than the other they root from similar problems.

Would you say that him reaching a stalemate would be good enough for him? It's not losing, but it's not winning either.

A mute function that hides all of the muted user's threads/post might be the best solution here. People whine about threads that aren't about them, a mute function is definitely needed for them.

The mute function is never successful because people are too curious to see if there's anything they are missing out. Also, there is the matter of other users replying to the "muted" user, and they might have smth more valuable to say for a change.

So what? Without the "spam", the "something valuable" would've never been posted.

I'd argue that that's their problem and not Cawks...

So it's settled, a mute function it is to tackle the "spaz" then.

A mute button though shouldn't be a userbase-wise requirement, especially if what's being posted is almost purely disruptive. The ideas themselves should not be shut down, but their presentation doesn't have to be such a flood.

Gypsy was whining there was no mute function the other day. We should go with mute function and haters can't complain no more.

A stalemate is a perfectly acceptable result for someone afraid of a loss. Often they'd sacrifice good chances of a win for a sure stalemate/draw.

Cawk is sacrificing his position in the community with these retarded, unnecessary threats. He'd rather not be banned, than be a valuable/worthy member of the community.

I just want other people to read this shit and be confused whether it's part of the post or not.

See, I don't think he'd enjoy a stalemate unless it could be reconstrued as a victory.

He wants to win because losing is so bad, but I think most stalemates would read as a loss to him without some reinterpretation of events on his part.

I think you're reading too much into it. He's just an anxious guy with sweaty palms and a suicide vest, waving about the detonator every time someone looks at him funny.

A true suicide bomber is doing it for a cause, while he wants people to know it was him.

I'd write it off as more of an anxious ego matter than just suicide bomber anxiety, as the ones truly willing to sacrifice don't need others to know who it was, and would be pleased merely by the results by themselves.

While he is able to do things others would see as shameful, it's rare to see him admit to feeling shame over any of it. He isn't doing a thing he himself doesn't like, he's doing things others won't like as a power move and feels good as a result.

It is compensation within both of our narratives, but his need to win is stronger than just wanting to see others lose. If a stalemate was good enough, he'd disregard his own losses in it and focus purely on how the other is worse than we think.

It's not special treatment, you've just been handling it wrong. Making mistakes is ok, it's about improvement.

How are you improving? How are you handling anything better? It's still CP threats and spazzes you're threatening us with.

To his credit, he isn't actually posting it right now, just reminding people that he could at any time.

This guy's inferiority complex is amazing, I swear. He lives with anxiety expecting to be banned and abused at any moment, and has this weird "accept me or I'll abuse you" defensiveness that betrays a really bad family role-model. If anyone here screams abusive childhood and family life, it's this guy. His coping mechanisms are really obvious.
