Puts a dangerous amount of power in the mods hands where they can be manipulated by that power and targeted for it, blackmailed for it etc.

this is the end game issue I felt I kept running into in a lot of mod related rules and it’s why I’m more of an equal powers evenly distributed with checks and balances kind of person 

 

mod actions should be governed by the people of the forum and other mods 

 

with no one person holding enough power to be “the most powerful” or “on top” 

yep, agree. Having more mods creates more equality than having just one. Not cos there's any modding to do but it stops one person from forcing their "vision/interpretation" of things on everyone else. 

Like forcing us to stare at 2 pages of empty pro-pedo threads in the name of free speech every time we open the site.
