Yeah no one eats dog food and enjoys it enough to eat everyday, and have no real desire for other food...

That just says it all right there. The rituals of wearing the dog collar, the hair, the eating of the food- it’s all most definitely almost a conscious act of defiance against ones true core knowledge that they are in fact human.

I got a “disconnected” vibe from the guy, I won’t lie. Something just seemed really odd about him like in a, “not all there” kind of way. Just in reading the face- nothing to do with the audio or the circumstance of belief he was a dog. That’s just a facade.

But what’s underneath all of that, I see something missing in his face and about him, as if, well number one I could tell he’s always been odd, from a young age, a bit, anti-social and nerdy but, I could also see a weirdness where it’s like, he doesn’t have a desire to participate in other social behaviors normally as others do.

There is definitely an internal disconnect at a very deep level. And I think the mother has been absent minded, the father has been absent all together, and he has been a bit anti-social relationally and otherwise, for a long time. Due to his inability to integrate with others.

It could of been a child like attempt to cope with an attachment disorder, at an early age and then it started to stand in the place of all he was missing as time went on. So you don’t have to notice the horrible affects of true, internal and external disconnect, and try to understand it or cope with it, you don’t have to blame yourself or anyone. You don’t have to feel contempt or rage, or anguish and pain of any kind.

Because you are a dog now, and everything is fine. And the relief he felt from feeling fine as a dog, pretending, as a child. Grew into a permanent coping mechanism.

The collar is also sexually suggestive. I think he gets off on the act in a weird way. The smile says pleasure. The bending down on the floor to eat... being served. It all just seems like, a strange, way of expressing ones submissive desires, and also to continue remaining a child who is taken care of and receiving attention from his mother.

I think the need for love and attention as a child just grew deeper and deeper with age, and he filled that loneliness with, being a dog. It was a form of denial for him.

He most likely learned the habit of denial from watching it with his own two parents. One of them did something, like, never speaking of a divorce or, things of that nature. And so he learned this behavior of denial very early on, that, that is how you cope with life is to remain in a facade of some sort. Which is very common, but not usually expressed in this oddly specific way.

I would be interested though to observe him for a long period of time, in his natural setting. And then have sessions with him as a therapist, and see, if there is, loss of time, dissociation, signs of disorganization or paranoia, or any other ritualistic behaviors that might be odd. There could be underlying disorders like OCD or EDNOS, even Pica.. or schizophrenia/schizoid... AVPD, NPD, HPD, BPD, etc. And of course getting neurological scans and running some tests there as well... just to check out what the hell is going on up there. He behaves very immature for his age which is suggestive of trauma. It’s not just a dog, he also acts like a 9 year old boy, as part of the act. In an odd way. I can’t tell if it’s on purpose of if he’s even “there” enough to realize he’s doing it.

And then get an assessment on childhood and family history... what’s going on there... you know. His past. Particularly where the dog acting began.

But yeah the reason I’m curious about schizophrenia here is, the eating of the food. Once again, it’s just humanly impossible to do that and be fine, so there has to be something wrong there... there could be an issue with the digestive system that created an opposition to food or other types of eating disorders, or it could be schizophrenia because- The only people who are capable of doing things that are beyond what is humanly possible to consume or withstand exceedingly high levels of pain and disgust, exhaustion, etc. Are people with psychosis and or schizophrenia.

Just like you can’t rip your own arm out of socket, or, eat 1 million chocolate bars in a day. It’s just not possible to do things like, drown yourself or, consume a lethal amount of salt orally, swallowing it down in large, disgusting gulps.

The dog food, it’s just not possible to enjoy that, especially for extended lengths of time. It’s almost as if he’s punishing himself.

But, nonetheless, there are people who *can* do these strange things to themselves that, are considered physiologically impossible to do- due to severe psychosis.

For example I saw on chubbyemu’s channel once a video about a woman with schizophrenia who consumed a lethal amount of soy sauce. Doctors were confused how she had that level of sodium in her system, as it wasn’t humanly possible to consume. Your body starts to reject it at a certain point and become violently ill, it’s extremely painful, and can result in neurological damage, loss of vision, etc. But this woman did it, due to being mentally “gone” enough. Amazingly.

So yeah if he is genuinely eating dog food everyday in this way, I would suggest a very very high, high extreme level of mental illness here that he was likely born with, or a result of some sort of neurological damage/heavy metal poisoning, etc.

But yeah I was sensing sexual abuse as well, as a possibility. From a male, perhaps he was forced to eat dog food and wear a collar or was submissive in a sexual act and it resulted in this belief he was a dog, as during sexual trauma in early childhood this is when intense dissociation and the development of alternate personalities can arise, it’s often *in the act* that they are created.

So that’s why, I don’t know, I think that he coped with something horrible with the belief he was a dog?

I just, I’m trying to make this make sense... lol because it’s, outside of anything I’ve seen. There are people out there with psychiatric diagnosis that are not yet understood, labeled, and can’t be defined by anything that’s ever been understood. But, it’s likely this isn’t one of those, it’s just, an odd one.

People believe they are animals isn’t, uncommon. It just usually involves trauma. I’m sure Dr. Phil knew that but, didn’t want to humiliate the guy who was clearly severely, broken. By digging right away into something like that in front of such a huge audience. It would be negligent, because he could even deter him from his chances of getting better.

You're wrong.

It's like you've never seen how desperate people can be to live up to construct ideals. Perception is reality, and even reinforcing behaviors can be done without a perceived tax weighing heavily enough to stop it's peruetuality. He could be far enough gone to only desire dog food, and even enjoy the taste over everything else. Look at Pica and tell me that people can't desire disgusting shit.

Life as we know it is just an idea, even if life itself is more than we can see of it.
