If in the beginning it's speaking about how NO ONE CAN ENTER, and the way it's wording it is that you literally cannot go into North Korea, then yea, I'm going to have some issues with that. 1:14, he speaks about they do not want ANYONE IN, then later on the correct themselves, much like I corrected myself.
Turncoat said:Are you kidding me, other than from boomers it's mostly made out to be a joke. "Sea of Fire" is the silliest thing from them, and their shenanigans are pure comedy. The work it takes to get inside though's legit.
What sort of "big brother state" are you talking about in your case, as the place has a pretty awful distribution of resources and their censorship practices are at points barbaric.
I'm speaking about how the WEST portrays them as the highly controlled orwellian state, hence the words like hermit kingdom and regime. Their distribution of resources is actually what's kept the going, and yes on some level they have markets which is unfortunate. However, maybe if the sanctions placed against them weren't so heavy, those people suffering could be better off.
Even if you want to point at "Sea of Fire" and other shenanigans of "aggression" it's not even as severe as the West's track record.
Is their censorship practices that bad? Why is it that north korean content gets censored on youtube? I used to watch two north korean channels until they got terminated. one was called stimmeskorea. On some level sure, there's censorship and such, what do you truly expect from a country surrounded by enemies across the globe? Do you really find such a development to be that ridiculous?
Turncoat said:What's worth noticing about North Korea are where their government and their figurehead don't always agree, but in the end it's their government's interests that pass instead of their leader's simple idealism. He's basically a child king in an adult's body, but the system he's in the middle of is a fucking mess. They need help, but they need the help to be there when the framework is ideal.
I'd like to touch on this on another time.
Turncoat said:If they weren't such a pathetic force to behold through poor organizing and a bad history, their mentality would present a very real danger.
I don't know why you see them as a pathetic force, they do have nuclear capability to hit america, but I highly doubt they ever would, because I don't think they're crazy.
Turncoat said:They can't afford it, but they need to peacock to not look bad in front of the other leaders.
Seriously, they have done some sad strategies in the past.
Has America never done anything similar? Honestly, I don't even know why America needs to maintain presence in the south, they seem to always butt in when the south and north have talks.

Well, the meme I posted above is a great example.

It's not like the US ever flexed nuclear aggression the DPRK before.
