Whatever you post on the internet tends to stay there no matter how much you want it gone. Intellectual property or not if you don't want people using it against you, don't post it to the internet

 i see the loophole you are talking about and i do see your point. the images are stored somewhere else. so the site is obviously not accountable for "storing" the images. got it.

but i disagree about someone here not posting the image. if the image is viewable here, then someone posted a link to it so it could be viewed here. this site uses imgur as a tool to view images and use the images to harass and bully. is this statement false?

just stating the obvious here. its not a stretch of the imagination to see this loophole and easily close it
