they don't do a very good job finding these videos cuz they are everywhere.
It is significantly less everywhere than it'd otherwise be.
They're doing a lot to fight the tide.

if its illegal they should remove it, otherwise they should keep everything. this P.C. dont offend people thing is just going to far imo. just dont click it if it offends you
It comes down to who has the money and who's willing to pull out versus stay.
Even things like Patreon and sponsorship is what gets around the lesser offenses (demonitization), and they'd rather trade away liberties for the sake of financial security by removing even the smallest of offenses that get flagged (esp. leftist phobia material). Again, there's been perfectly harmless content taken down by people pretending to be the offended party, they'd rather not risk it and that's who they are now. With shit like Youtube Red as well they likely feel like they have too much on the line.
Again though they're doing a lot to try to keep things off of their website once they remove it. It's why there's some goofy watermarks and image flips going on to combat their video recognizing algorithms.

Some of it's the equivalent of shitposting advertisements to spammy spyware sources and stuff though, I do see a problem with those.
It's when the agenda gets political or otherwise stretches into areas that aren't real problems that it's goofy.

thats sad
maybe they are trying to clean up their perceived image
It would be better for intense video censorship to take place- especially with things related to wars and revolutions - It's very very very important to only have the Giant Media Corporations be the only ones providing us with information.

Oh... Youtube removes content from some of that lot too.

Youtube just willy nilly flags and removes FOX news, or CBS News? I'm pretty sure that CNN doesn't have multiple channel strikes for not fitting in Youtube Policy

They've removed things affiliated with Fox.
The Youtube agenda is fearful, making it become political-by-proxy.
