Lol one time I sat through a church message about why following your heart was wrong.
I liked the church and would agree to go to this one for my family because they were outwardly accepting of gays and such, and no political speech, no hate speech about other cultures and races, etc. and it was structured like a bible study. Which was actually interesting. It was very intellectual.
But then they started including subtle patronizing messages directed at gay people- and went as far as to have several messages be entirely just about Gay people. And it was basically an attempt to tell them their “life style” as they called it was indeed wrong, all the reasons they thought that. Etc.
I’ve never seen anything as bad as this, except one time a dude in a Catholic Church who was a priest or something got up, and literally made an entire hate speech saying “that’s not love! That’s not love!” Over and over again.
The Catholic Church is the worst because they constantly drop bombs toward gay people that are discreetly hateful, at least this other church tried to be nicer about it it
