thanks BR, we need some recognition
Lesbian relationships always end in unnecessarily dramatic ways and are ridden with drama.
Why does your straight pride have to include gay bashing?

Why does your straight pride have to include gay bashing?
Traditionalists feel attacked by the mere existence of homosexuality, especially as it becomes more confident in itself.
It's a misappropriated feeling of "fighting back".
Oh my god.

Gays cannot just be gay, they have to make it consume every bit of their self expression. Partially an overcompensation for it not being so acceptable in the past, I get it. But you do not see straight people only talking about their straightness. LGBT priders seem to only have one interest and that is being gay, which in my opinion is annoying because they likely are much more than a living sexual orientation.

Exactly. Any sense of repression once given permission to come out will come out loudly in a way that reflects how much buildup they'd accumulated up to that point, which is usually enough to slightly reshape an identity (ie: ex-Catholics). When enough generations of people are born into this freedom, it will be trivialized.
Have you ever met any right wing gay people? They're a bit different, you might like them.
But you do not see straight people only talking about their straightness.
I've seen it, a fair deal actually.
While locker room talk for example lightly applies to "straight talk", I've quite literally heard talks about "straightness" from straight people, saying how great it is to not be gay and stuff. This is a kind of conversation that does happen, you probably just missed them from them not being jarring enough to mentally record.
Even something as basic as how freely heteros can talk about who they love is vastly different from how homosexuals have to ask themselves how the news would be taken every time they feel like bringing it up. It has a way of forming into a complex, one not too different from racial tensions through pre-thought of a similar vein.

They're preserving and celebrating their rights, and the sheer saturation over talking about it has been fading ever since. It's discussed significantly less now unless you're outright looking for it.
I am a bit bitter with lesbian relationships because I have been in aa sens a victim of a lesbian relationship involving one party being an abusive BPD and another being my mother. And she threw away my life in a normal family unit..... For that thing.

At what age did this happen?
