And I was tied by SC values. Such a hopeless situation had to be exited. I should have banned cawk for posting CP and not shut down the forum.

I will not just shut down the forum again. If I ever decide to stop hosting again, I will make sure you have another place to go to first.

The reason I decided to make a post about this is that after I rehosted the forum, I decided there will be changes. Not major changes in terms of the forum politics, but changes in terms of how I view the forum.

I will involve the community into the forum governing and creation process.

If people want to use the forum, then I want to work with them. I will post more on the subject shortly. Feel free to discuss.

Ya. SC had a rule about posting CP and he broke it. The leniency shown to him did nothing. It just lead to him rubbing everyone's face in it. He was pushing for his own infamy through pure annoyance. It's all he thought he had to offer.

I don't know how long you'll end up wanting to host SC but I believe you'll keep your word on this.

With the exception of shutting sc down, you've done this. Problems with admin happen when the majority want something and the admin don't listen. It happened on Luna's sc and here. It's like being told "you're gonna eat your veggies and like it." This time, the majority of users agreed with you. I think you missed it because you didn't want to be perceived as abusing power. BUT someone always has to lead and take the inevitable blowback.

Since we have a track record of succeeding where Luna fails, can you give me details about how exactly that worked? Maybe we can use what worked and know what failed from it.

I will explain anything you did not understand, but I do not know what that is.
What I was saying is that I made a mistake, I won't do it again and I will get the community more involved in the creation and managing of the forum.

I have not been as devoted as I'd like to be. I will change that. Taking the blowback is not an issue when I know I am not making a mistake.
