Same. I'm thinking and hoping this was him being dramatic but I see a lot of room for this to be a real attempt. We know they were married and that they did split, we know Jim has had years of talking about issues in this department and we know Jim has access to hard drugs.
In the first upload he was also drinking, initially giving a countdown. All it takes is for him to be impulsive and take more than he usually does with the drugs he has on hand while intoxicated.
