Yes, SC is an illusion. It is an illusion the way anything anonymous on the internet can be. It's built up its history and mythology. But I know there are real people behind it. I don't think I ever said this place would be destroyed by popping some illusion. I don't think anyone *believes* the illusion in the first place. That has always been what the dueling has been about, sure. We've found out all kinds of real things about people and this place has continued. It might emphasize the "community" part of the title more?
It might not be the same as it once was in character, but this place has always been its people.
It's too black-and-white thinking, without nuance, to take this at face value.
I don't see SC as an illusion cause when it's content is read what it makes of itself is on the most part real.
They had to as real people take the effort to type those characrer counts.

It doesn't appear that anyone here claims to be something they aren't, and at this point in time most of the regulars by a landslide aren't anonymous.
This place is built off of a sense of bragging about authenticity, which is why people like Legga stand out as an anomaly.
We could be fake, but because we don't choose to be it shows something more. When someone, like Legga, chooses to be fake? It stands out.

Legga isn't totally dumb, guy has a 5 star career and is the boss. The University stuff isn't even the main course. But with this he's become very conceited. Part of him wants you all to see who he really is, so the "Lets all have a zoom call and compare one another and shut down SC" is his fantastic idea.
