There's confusion between Github Copilot and Microsoft Copilot. Both are owned by Microsoft, and developed through OpenAi but they aren't the same same. It being on Github, it's a collaboration development being open source and industry.

I recall in 2018 I'd toy around with Replica, which in my opinion is a dumb Ai. I brought it up in SC in 2020, that's when Chapo created Annabot. Around the same time Delora created Rodentina, which is supposed to be a rodent furry. 

While Replica is an ass and nothing to boast about, that would mean I used my first LLM over 8 years ago which is a better part of a decade. 

When I was mining cryptocurrency in 2017 selling hashpower for machine learning was a 2nd option. Ai was always a thing and has been beating our ass in chess and video games for some time now, but when i learned about machine learning I had to see what it's for, and that's when I got my first chatbot.

In the end it doesn't matter who has the most experience using Ai. It's no longer important to know how to prompt properly or use python to issue prompts, as the most powerful Ai can be instructed in plain English on what to do and how to do it, and it will know what you mean in ways some people don't seem to convey. Just speak/write, it will confirm your request and let it rip. Thing knows how to cook.

At this point I use multiple Ai tools and the only person in this community, to post more than LLM output.

It sounds mean but ChatGPT kinda makes me cringe though it's very nice, and I mean very very nice, it's more like a brand for people who don't make it very far. 

- Gemini is good for it's efficiency and additional power based on what I use it for.

- Grok is more insane thought takes a little longer to respond. Very featured LLM with tools on the side for imagery and video creation. Most powerful data center Grok will become the most powerful maybe by it's next model. 

- Claude. This is the first Ai to be respected by coders. The best of pro versions for it's ability to code and operate on our own systems when creating software. 

- Ox Alpha. You don't know this one. For now its free and unlimited to use. No one knows who made it.

ChatGPT though. I told an ex, use ChatGPT.... She's like okay.... But she'd never do it. So I her friend calls me and we're chatting about psychology and shit, and I said, try ChatGPT. Misplaced power. A woman on ChatGPT will use it against you lol.

When I look into the whole "Ai made me do it and now I'm fucked" scene, I see a bunch of dumbasses using ChatGPT, and sure I look snooty to them, while I'm making apps and websites and collaborating with Ai to make nice games and sell shit. I see people using ChatGPT to fuel drama and output high quality nothing burgers.

But that's not really an LLM. Id argue copilot was the first actually useful LLM with broad utility, the rest was trash with niche applications.

They dont understand how the AI predicts what its supposed to output and what it cant do. Once you understand the technology behind it, its easy to see the limitations. im the only one here capable of understanding the technology and Ive used LLMs when nobody here knew anything about them. I also know what the difference is between LLMs and general chat bots.

So, arguably I am the most proficient in AI here and always were. Its just what it is.

Ive used it to tailor my OS to my liking and applications I dont want to make myself. I automate everything with AI, which means I can focus all of my time on research now. Its nice.

That doesn't make you a star or a better than anyone who uses modern Ai. 

I'd argue when I apply Ai to what I do ( which is different than what you use it for ) my output is finer. At present I'm not just having Ai do things for me, I have it doing things with me. I'm a long time Autodesk Maya user, and when I bring Autodesk Flow Studio into the mix, I'm doing more than just directing generative Video, I'm controlling it in ways a director couldn't possibly do.

What you do for a living is, well, I don't know you're not solving the big one are you.

I've done that and ended up having to use my main PC cause the solo build I scrapped together was too pleb and would only handle 7b models. 

At the end of the day when we build a system to run an LLM locally, using a harness like Hermes 2.0 it's still going to choose the public Ai as a flagship brain when we want to get real and code. 

This was before SOL came out so the harness would NEVER use GPT as the brain for what I'd do with it. 

Simply put, there is no local Ai that can outclass paid public Ai. Doesn't matter if you built your own data center with state of the art hardware, it's not happening. If you're slightly above normal you'll find RTX XX90 GPUs are lacking sufficient VRAM and cannot content with what data centers have to offer. 

In my experience with OpenClaw and Hermes, it's simply not as good as it looks. When it comes to Claude Ai, we wouldn't want it to use anything higher than Opus 4.5 or else it will gobble up tokens real quick, it's simply better to use the Claude Ai than to use it in a harness. That in itself kills off using a Harness.

The first one is a concept. And will require ComfyUi for the background. This one will be cheap and I never started it. The 2nd one uses sprites made with Ai and myself. The 3rd one, I just started 3 days ago. My team consists of Ox Alpha, Claude, and Gemini. While I'm a Grok fan, that's included too sometimes. Claude is the Captain while Gemini is just really good at inserting itself when I turn to it for free perspectives. It'll say, awesome can I see, Okay you want to see what Claude wrote here. Boom oooo you can do this and this and this, and I'm like good idea you're in. 

Ox Alpha is kinda funny to use cause this thing will not remember shit. This one is free to use and it can code. So before I leave it alone I will make it create a "note to self" and show it to the next instance along with everything it's done before carrying on with the session. 

My games are not just done in a day. 2 of them are meh. While the new one I think will be a hit. I don't know how long it'll take before I release it. As it is in 3D, it's never done, and I'm the one setting a deadline which is, "however long it takes".

Copilot is not useless for coding. Its quite nice for auto-search function, like Google. My criticism was of AI in general being useless for the things I want it to do. However, you didn't know the difference between Microsoft copilot and github copilot so I doubt you understand the use-cases. Github copilot is not meant to be agentic, though they added that feature eventually. Its for autocompletion. It was specifically designed for coding. 

When did I start using agentic.... Dont remember. It was probably pre-2025, because I had a friend who introduced it to me way before when it was really not a thing. I used GPT for chats for a little while alongside copilot before that.

I was talking about using agents and develop several ones with distinct rules and skills in tandem with the OS. I have used Linux since I was circa 10 years old and Im very proficient at managing my own OS and tuning it into my liking. I have it do exactly what I want. Whenever I have a problem or want something done a certain way I dont look up on Google how to do it or whatever, I develop my own tool to do it. You should see my neovim editor. Its fire. I code 100x ai speed. 10 minute tasks are one second for me, Ive muscle memorized probably 1000 quick keys.

Seriously you should see the shit Im capable of on my arch linux. I was always afraid of becoming a code monkey which is why I look down on coding as opposed to Physics, but Im probably in the top 0.01% of developers when it comes to efficiency. I just dont brag about it because at the end of the day even a monkey can code. Its not artistic enough for me, but yeah, Im the fastest monkey in the world.

But guy, I'm from the late 70's. Did you know video games use Ai and I first gamed when I was like 4 years old ? 

I don't know what you were doing in 1986, but we had the Radio Shack 1850 Electronic Chess board programmed by world champion Garry Kasparov and the thing was basically unbeatable on level 10.  That year I would've been turning 9 late in the year so I was actually 8 years old and I'm fucking with Ai.

I don't fuck around with the OS, I just take it as it is. What I do, I click on software and use it. I know where my saved files are going. I use Windows 10, and will only use Linux if I have to. Like that time I was messing with local Ai and had to use my own system cause the celeron chips on the H110 BTC+ boards were underwhelming. In this case the OS and the Ai got their own SSD and banned from accessing anything on any other drive. 

In College we used Unix, then halfway we started using Windows NT, and we were a lot happier. Up to this day I like Windows, and it's still optional to run WSL in the Win10 environment, only thing when it comes to local LLM's I don't recommend this as Windows itself requires more resources, which is not too bad either since the LLM wants VRAM aside from a decent CPU.

Most people who are not proficient at OS or developing like windows. Everyone is a windows guy until they learn Linux. I have my own system which bends to my will exactly like how I want it.

Its like someone saying they're into block based coding until they learn an actual programming language.

You should try. install arch Linux. I guarantee your life will become better.

SC is a place where I've seen people write scripts to destroy others. Koloss wiped out Cancer Community, Nathan created hundreds of email address just so he can dox bull and harass me and my Family. Not just any windows, I'll never use Windows 11. Windows 10 good. Windows 8 made me feel sad so skipped, Windows 7 good, Windows XP good. Windows M.E.bad. Windows N.T. good. 

I'll stop using Windows 10 until I have no choice but to let it go. Don't care that it's no longer supported.

I have a very nice motherboard and Win11 won't work with it, but that's not the main reason I don't want 11.

One thing about Linux is sometimes it's a pain in the ass to get some software to work properly. My PC is made for work and play.

Local Ai fine I'll use Ubuntu 24.04 and I'd use it if I had to run a server. I'd also use it if I were trying to take over the world, other than that shit gets done just find on Win10, plus I'm not afraid of blaotware cause I have 32GB DDR4 in my system.

If I used Linux as my main OS I'd be spending more time troubleshooting certain applications, and in some cases drivers. While Win10 isn't perfect I'll use it since my applications are made for it. Namely Studio Neo is a pain in the ass to run on Linux.

My game engine of choice. Godot. Open source, no licensing fees/tax based on sales. The game is 100% owned by the developer.

I believe in good graphics for extra feel. Game must be polished. You always hear people say "Good graphics don't make a good game", I don't believe that's the case in 2026, artwork is everything.

I'm making a clone of 2 existing games combined into one, done my way. Claude code stole my heart. Thing knows what I'm saying and it actually uses Godot it's damn self while it'scooking. Here comes my sprites and 3D assets and animation, and it's not going anywhere until it's perfect.

There's another game I have in mind too, which is a beatem up. And why ? It's something that can be produced really fast. 2-3 hours long with other play modes unlockables make it beautiful and it's good to go.

My target audience are on Steam and steam sells games made for Windows, I simply won't care much how my games run on Linux but it probably will when a Linux user forces it to.

There is no vanity. If anything it might be more vain to chase a sense of realism. The idea of vanity is mostly just a social shaming tool, not something that inherently makes sense.

No. Vanity is a real thing.
