PMC hosting the article does not mean the US government endorses its conclusions. PMC is a research archive, and this is a 2022 narrative review written by individual researchers.

The passage you quoted says “emerging evidence,” admits that major gaps remain, and recommends fasting only in combination with standard cancer treatment. It does not say fasting alone cures cancer, literally starves a tumor away, or that prayer commands cancer to disappear. So this may support studying medically supervised fasting as a possible supplement to treatment. It does not support your original religious claim. “2026 years after Christ has risen” is also irrelevant to whether the evidence establishes a cure.

“Amen” does not establish causation. This is an edited personal testimony with no pathology report, treatment timeline, scans, or independent medical assessment. She also says every available treatment had already been used, so claiming she recovered through “nothing other than Christ” ignores the possible delayed effects of those treatments. Rare spontaneous remissions are medically documented, and an unexpected clear scan does not tell us why the cancer regressed. A doctor informally calling something a “miracle” is not evidence that prayer caused it. At most, the video shows that a religious person recovered unexpectedly and attributed it to Christ. It does not demonstrate that prayer cures cancer, that fasting starves it away, or that lack of faith causes treatment failure.

Then you have no response to back up the dangerous and medically unsound advice. Saying the first three words stopped you from reading only confirms that you rejected the explanation before considering the evidence. Your lack of interest does not establish that prayer caused the remission, and waiting for someone more “stimulating” does not repair the missing causal evidence.
