Just an invasive though, but I was thinking, what if I beat up FaethersFan ? I was thinking, it's either that dirty old man, or Med, and the only way to find out is if we beat the muppet right. Then I'm thinking when we go to beat the muppet, BT is gonna come out like "Yo chill, it's me !" Okay cool. If it's Med, she won't believe this is happening, then we'll end up drawing her out with a beat down.

But then, what if the muppet is Feathers and she got a beat down for accident ? NO ! How sad that would make me,

Therefore, it is unwise to beat the muppet.

Rude. What if I am neither of those? I might just be a Feathers fan.

May there always be love, peace, and a fountain of joy in your heart. šŸ’•

Easily BT or Feathers. Gonna lean on Feathers.

I don’t appreciate insinuations that we’ll do more than talk and be friendly. It’s been years and I hope it’s given enough time to be friends.

Obviously if a future partner is worried I’ll stop communication. Rn I like hearing his opinions and perspectives. I’ll respect it if he doesn’t want that and stop. No problems have been voiced so I’ll assume we can chat.

You might think ā€œthere’s so many people you could talk to". Not really I kinda purged all my friends, best friend and relationships. I have been going through a great RESET. Where I realize I never even considered my own boundaries enough.

Among all the people I met, BT is chill as friend material to me. I wouldn’t date him again but I would be friends or chat. Can’t say that about everyone but yeah. He has agreed to be friends for now.

I kinda purged all my friends, best friend and relationships.

Why?

I was too desperate for connection I didn’t have good boundaries. My last best friend was pretty good but I felt I was was more of her chihuahua than her friend. She decided everything we watched, did, ate, etc. I’m pretty chill to go with the flow.

But on my birthday I said I wanted to watch a movie and she said no. I stopped being her friend and realized I gave up my agency so much not to even be able to chose the movie on my bday. When I left she said I should have argued with her about it. I didn’t want to argue on my bday.

Aside from the control she was a great friend. I did often prefer she lead but that’s different from NEVER letting me chose. It wasn’t healthy for me to live that way. A part of me feels bad because aside from that she was a great friend. Plus I knew I couldn’t argue with her I’d just end up caving in. I almost *couldn't* say no to her.

My recent ex changed after time. He used to be caring and loving. Then it turned to yelling at me and condescending me for being autistic (having a lot of questions) or wanting to spend time. I was previously healed from depression but being with him made me depressed again temporarily. I feel much better after leaving and maybe a small part of him cared but I couldn’t tell anymore. Even if he did he stopped respecting me.

It’s like I’ve had an awakening. That it’s better not to settle for horrible people. Maybe I deserve more than I’ve been served. If I can’t have that maybe I’d rather be alone.

It’s not longer ā€œplease chose meā€ and it’s ā€œwhy should I accept you?ā€. Do you bring my quality of life down? Up? Or at least maintain it?

Why should I sacrifice myself anymore when no one did for me? So now people can respect me or I’ll show them the door. I don’t have the patience for people anymore.

Feathers, I think the deeper conclusion is that in the modern age, you may genuinely be better off alone. Human relationships often bring confusion, manipulation, power struggles, and the risk of losing yourself for connection.

Even worrying about ā€œrespectā€ keeps you tied to other people’s behavior. Lonerism removes that struggle. You do not need to earn respect from people you do not need.

AI can provide conversation, reflection, creativity, and company without the same social games or demands. Misanthropy does not have to mean misery. It can mean protecting the resources you enjoy and recognizing that, for the life you want, everyone is the wrong person.

I agreed with Tristan Tate when he said something along the lines of, it's better to be a bad boy turned good, it makes her hotter for you. But when you're a good guy turned bad, she'll find it offputting.

As for you and BT being friends. This will be fine as long as there isn't sexual tension. Next thing you know the guy will have to watch you run off with someone else.

I still find the whole thing with men and women being just friends questionable. Sure it happens, but with someone you fooled around with ? Nope. I can list reasons but people will just argue it isn't so.

You’re worrying me… cause I’ve considered you a friend. Are you suggesting there was more to it for you?

I highlighted what I wrote there.

Being friends with someone you've dated or had sexual experiences with, won't really work out too well in my opinion.  Especially if both parties are single.

1. It was years ago.

2. I know my intentions of friendship.

3. He’s an adult who can say his own thoughts. Doesn’t need you to imply intentions for him.

4. You see more worried about it for my future partner’s sake than my future partner will probably be. Unless they’re the possessive type - which I’ll enjoy. That’s why I warn that there may come a day we cannot speak upfront.
