There's nothing wrong with a Father giving money to his children. When I got my first bike, my Father co-signed for me. When I had no job in my early teens he'd give me 50 to 80 dollars a week, and that was good money in those days we can really do a lot. I'd be out with the boys. Doing things. Going on dates. Movies whatever. I been out a lot.
Once I was flat broke, and I needed money, I hated asking him for anything, and rarely ever did. Was kinda afraid of him, he was an intense man. But If I really needed something like bus fare or just something to get out. I asked kindly for some money that time. He just looked at me, slowly reach into his pocket and and hand me a fat stack of coins. I'd be like jeez this is like 25 buck ! And yeah, in Canada we have Loonies and Toonies, so it's easy to have that kind of money in change. Our friends were captivated by this man, up to this day they still talk about him.
