Some used Tesla's are better than new ones.
Tesla sold some vehicles that come with lifetime free charging. When the owner sells the car privately, the free lifetime charging deal passes onto the new owner.
The last 2 times Tesla sold vehicles with free lifetime charging was for some 2016 and 2024 models.
I saw a 2016 Model X P90D going for $35,000 used, and it had the free lifetime charging.
Even if we can squeeze a measly 200 miles out of the used battery, that is so worth it cause it will cost $0 to power, and it's optional to send the car to Tesla for a bigger battery, which I think will cost $8,000 on top of trading the old lithium Ion battery pack.
The 2016 Tesla are capable of updates like FDS and other software that upgrades the vehicle, and some of them have lidar scanners which Tesla stopped putting in their cars. The Tesla's with Lidar in my opinion are superior at detecting accidents.

It's very fast, cost $0 to power, 15-20 minute fast charge times, do not charge it at home, it updates and can use paid updates if the owner wants them. Thing has a built in PC that can run triple A games if that's your thing. It's a bit much. It's also a status symbol and you'll see a lot of haters in 2025.
Worth it.
