Oh jeez wow, sounds like Med's fallen on hard times. It fits with how she used the Discord to try to sell her art, her lawyer might have gouged her for more than she was prepared to spend. 

The irony of her being like "I'm expected to do it because I'm family" while pulling the same card on them first. She acts entitled to her family's money while refusing to even do something as small as critique a logo. Imagine being that selfish.

If Med were an artist with any relevancy she'd know the difference, they aren't even the same focus when it comes to a college degree. If she had given advice it'd probably be horrible.

Then implying her cousin must be angry when asking questions as simple as "So you aren't going to call me?". I can easily imagine with Med's history that she likely said a lot more than she's letting on. It's no wonder her cousin feels drained. 

It also has me question how much of this might be transference over the Wegovy:

Disagree, part of being an artist is work ethic. You've been able to spit art out at points like it's second nature while she looks over the same pieces she made years ago like they're current. 

Cartoon art and an aesthetic eye are a part of the process too, plus her attempts at tracing photographs always lose the nature of the original subject. Your choice of using simple lines meanwhile demonstrates an understanding of the character beneath.
