Should have made more of an effort to be known then, it's not others' faults that you kept changing aliases and behaved as ambiguously as you did. Can't really complain about not being noticed if you spend your time hiding yourself, right? 



I can't really say I share this problem, it's really not that hard to stand out if you're genuine and open. We aren't entitled to any of this, it has to be earned. 


Edit: Also for the record you were a known name at least, but most of what they knew of you was more in relation to how you'd interact with more known, brave, charismatic people. You moreso added spice to others stories rather than allowing it to really ever become about yourself, often re-iterating why you shouldn't become known, defensively, while seeing little come from your commitment to safety when compared to those who'd shown less fear. 

A life without risk isn't really much of a life.

I don't know about you guys, but I feel like I got a lot out of this place. Less now yeah, but plenty over the last decade or whatever that it's been.

Without this place I'd have led an entirely different life, causally speaking, and reading about others' experiences helped me enrich my own through the interactions, many serving even as research prompts in areas I'd have otherwise remained ignorant in. 

Imagine coming here and feeling like you got nothing out of it, you'd have to be entirely self-involved or something. While I have gotten much more than just reading people's lives through a weird filter out of this, that ought to be enough right? 

This place was my second major forum experience, and I'll probably be signing onto a third down the line. I likely wouldn't mind dragging others with either if the place ever truly dies, as said 'New Blood' is out there whether it's coming here or staying elsewhere.
