I agree with TC it was probably a blend of users mo longer putting up with being attacked by other users, and those users finding another online space. Discord is probably a large contributing factor, but more broadly the shift in the internet away from forums. As older members leave new people are not looking for a place like this.

The number one reason for leaving was doxing, and the number one reason people no longer want to share informatiom or be provocative is doxing. All the rest is secondary.
I mean, it's pretty well known that people behave differently when they are protected by anonymity vs when they are not, isn't it? I certainly am not going to risk my career over this forum, nor will Alice nor will peach, and nor will anyone who values their career or reputation. It's pretty clear that the only members left are those who do not value their reputation or are too shortsighted to realize the potential consequences of their actions, and those who do value their reputation, have started to censor themselves and made this place boring.
Read up on the Milgram experiment.

PalePeach left SC together with Alice because she was afraid of IRL consequences. She agrees with me that everything else is only secondary. You do not see this because you dont value your reputation.
We can alternatively ask any other person, as long as they left because of doxing. I dont really see any other way.

She already answered the question in this topic though, and you sound like you wouldn't want to ask someone who left for other reasons.
Of course you'd get a "I left because of doxing" from someone who left because of doxing, but what about the majority who left? You bring up one example and exclaim it's why everyone's doing it, which is weird.
