Well I think the addition of pinned threads was just worse. Kinda ruined the freeform flow feeling. Although idk anything about contributing to an open commit website.
Prior to stickies the complaint was over 'the flow' ruining their ability to find topics. 🤷

The room to suggest what other topics should be there was asked and no one bothered with it, but it did have people stop complaining about others posts hiding content.
People received the option and chose not to use it, which proved to be enough.
