If said speedrunner was looking down on an engineer's job, and the engineer said, well, speedrunning is not a real job, and then you got up and outraged, tellling the engineer to mind his manners, but then when the speedrunner turned and looked down on your career trajectory and you said, well, speedrunning is not a real job, would you be a hypocrite, in this hypothetical example?

You're still stuck too much on just the individual rather than the bigger picture alongside it.

A speedrunner is not saving people's lives (usually) or changing policy in politics, they aren't making their mark on history or doing 'real' accomplishments, but the skill itself is still something to appreciate on it's own.

I can sit here and say he cuts the potatoes quickly with his machine, quite possibly faster than others would with it, but I cannot sit here and say that makes him a 'Good Person' or that he is otherwise doing work on par with other fields. It's two (three?) different means of metric entirely.

Back to the original point in relation to Chapo, it's moreover where his appreciation has shifted to.

I can appreciate someone who believes in their work, doing it for themselves and finding a comfort in it while able to live to the standard that they've become accustomed to and sustain it.

It's another thing entirely however when that is made to overlay the bigger picture. At that point, rather than celebrating his skill and self-sufficiency which on it's own I'd argue is enough, he is instead purposely looking for people lower than him in the pecking order to reassure himself over a latent insecurity that's formed overall.

If he were to try the same boasts towards nondisordered people on more traditional forums, he'd very soon see how others see his line of work in spite of his experience. It's a predatory form of self-congratulations that looks about as strange as when Spatial used to do it.

He was doing that in the topic, as well, so no, that hasn't changed. The only difference here is that Chapo used his superiority to lord over others, and now he's using his superiority to lord over you.

Either you're suffering from cognitive dissonance and really don't recognize the hypocrisy or you're fully aware of it and now you're just serving word salad.

I mean, there's really no way around it.

If you say that Chapo is a wonderful and highly successful leader in a restaurant service industry, with excellent communication and people skills and a highly successful career, and with great effort attack anyone who dares to say that Chapo is a burger flipping dude without a real job, and then you yourself say exactly that, then I'm sorry, logic indicates that you're a hypocrite. Q.E.D.

Chapo has every right to insult you now.

This is like that time when you were insisting that Chapo saying "If you're an engineer, then I'm wrong" doesn't mean that if the person's an engineer, then Chapo's wrong. It's like someone rejecting 1+1=2. I hope it's cognitive dissonance, and not just you spending hours and hours not admitting you're wrong.

I didn't think it'd be this hard for you to understand, but whatever.

Thankfully I've been talking to people who understand enough basic English lately to not be confused enough to warrant excessive repetition, as I'm sure me repeating myself isn't fun for you. If not for that I'd probably be stuck in the same loops you and Delora were prone to having me fall into.

So cognitive dissonance then?
