It pains me to see current trends go back to early 00s. The Met Gala has been on a decline and that is pretty much indicitive of the creativity of fashion as a whole.
Well the world of “high fashion” is a completely different world than “ready to wear” or street fashion. So a lot of people look at the different types through different lenses.
The Met Gala having a theme is probably the issue, but it would be boring otherwise. But I wouldn’t judge the entire world of high fashion based on the met gala lol? It’s not really an accurate representation or sampling of where fashion is at in the current year at all. But it’s interesting to look at, so I understand why it gets more attention than the runway.
I look at high fashion as sort of an experimental attempt to start trends ahead of time, everyone is trying something unique and expressing their wildest creativity and imagination. This ends up inspiring new design in ready to wear, resulting in “hot new trends” that realistically were probably designed two years ago in high fashion, but have finally reached a boiling point with mainstream popularity.
It kind of goes like runway > Instagram > fast fashion > YouTube/tiktok. Trickle down effect. Something like that.

I'm so disappointed the micro is sold out in white leather.
I love the mini and the medium as well.
I like the white leather and the rose leather.
I couldn't find the mini in rose or white, and I wanted both color ways. So i went ahead and got them both in medium since that's all that was available. I figure it's best to take advantage of the 30% while it's still in stock here.
And then if I find a micro or mini for sale elsewhere in my favorite colors, I may add them but, we will see how I am liking the medium and if I feel the need to have the smaller ones as well. Unfortunately the bag is very coveted in the micro and the mini.
The other reason I went with the medium is because it fits the 13" laptop, which I know I'll end up needing a lot of the time.

If you're referring to the Marc Jacobs bag, they've made all the version of the tote without all the logo on it. They've also all the versions of the tote in canvas instead of leather. So there's a lot of options with this bag.
