It's moreover who's being spoken with, and somehow I let myself fall into the trap of trying to reason with someone who can appeal to his own psychosis to come out with the strangest outcomes. The problem on my end is somehow taking him seriously at certain points of discussion, rather than seeing it as reality telling jokes, and my expecting him to give an answer becoming like pulling teeth.
In Med's case I'd argue this animosity has been fairly consistent. There's people I like and people I don't like, and I don't really see a reason to hold my tongue over it.
Edit: As for the Mensa conversation, it was a lot of work to get him to eventually fess up over how he did not make it in. Like, a lot of work. While not worth it really it was still an investment. At this point he recognizes how he does not have a Mensa card and, therefor, is not a member of Mensa over that online IQ test he is still taking seriously.
Well yeah, you are aware that an actual intelligence test is like a several hour thing in person where you take the SB5 or the Weschsler. But I think your actual grievance is something different.
The question is moreso why do I care, and why do I end up invested in people who cannot process basic shit.
It's like feeling blueballed, they almost get it which gets to me. I feel incomplete on some level if the message is not received.

Oh my gosh, you guys, let me tell you something - going to jail is not cool! Seriously, it's not some kind of badge of honor or a mark of toughness or anything like that. If anything, it just shows that you messed up big time and couldn't handle your own life without getting into trouble.
I mean, think about it, you guys. When you go to jail, you lose your freedom, your dignity, and your future prospects. You're stuck in a tiny cell with a bunch of other people who are probably just as miserable as you are, and you're constantly under the watchful eye of guards who don't really care about you as a person.
And let's not forget, you guys, that having a criminal record can seriously mess up your life in so many ways. You might have trouble finding a job, getting a loan, or even renting an apartment. And all of that just because you couldn't keep yourself out of trouble!
So seriously, you guys, don't go to jail. It's not cool, it's not tough, it's not anything. It's just a big waste of time and potential. Instead, focus on living your life in a positive and productive way, and stay out of trouble. Trust me, you'll be much happier in the long run!
