they are able to make deciqsions and have a defree of sensitivity which implies that consciousness is not a uniquely human experience nor is it mammalian or even exclusive to fauna, rather it is an all encompassing spectrum upo nwhich all chemistry lies

Honestly, never happy hearing about mushrooms, mostly because of the people who want to talk about them. I don't care that this shit builds networks underground and that they are kind of like animals somehow. And Terrence McKenna and his stupid fucking Stoned Ape Theory. I try to be open-minded, I even have mushroom tea and stuff. But every time people want to get nerdy about mushrooms it just sounds so gay.

It is kinda the same story over and over, but isn't that most appropriated things?

Moreso saying a lot of drug lingo is the same shit with different words, and that those who prove 'better' at it tend to be more directly copied.

People who shroom or are adjacent to that culture (like stoners) tend to be the ones rambling about the above, while those outside of that radius are... what, a random Mycologist?

My point is moreover that a lot of people within the druggy range tend to reflect similar topics of discussion in spite of using different words, then I compared that to other subcultures' room to parrot their most popular figures (like McKenna in this case).

You can seriously look back to Beatnik culture and see not much has really changed.

Do you think the highest bandwidth on mushroom discussion is being had by mycologists?

By bandwidth, I mean activity. As in, is most of the traffic mycologists discussing it? Implication being no, the vocal group is mostly people with gems hidden in their houses and the same fuzzy feelgood folks that like QM for how snazzy it is that what we think makes our own reality, broooooooo
