What power do mods have here they didn't in your space though, stickies? What you did with it makes this place seem way more laid back.
I'm not even using that tool and an existing topic here's gone over how we plan to reduce it to two. We even stream movies here, integrated into the chat window, and in general the speed of this place is far superior to what yours was.
Speaking as a mod as well, THE TOOLS ACTUALLY WORK, I have not had to pretend they do unlike when I was on your forum even once.Do you recall how many months you spammed the forum when I demodded you?
Do you recall the content of the posts that mostly were contained to their own, few topics?
It was deleted because it consistently insulted you, and nothing more. That's all it used to take back in the day, and cases that focused on other users you didn't even take down. When a rebellion began brewing I participated, rather than whatever version you're cooking in your head.
You were SO upset. It was really clear then how desperately you needed to be a mod here.
Of course I was upset, but it's moreover how it happened, and then how the other mods were behaving.
It's a central part of your identity. It's the only power I suspect you have in life. It's the only respect you get.
How much work do you even imagine I'm doing as mod, now that you aren't in charge?
I get how you see this like it's a lot of work or something, but it really isn't when the person in charge is stable and sane.
You are happy to have Good as a dictator becasue he lets you do what you want as mod and mostly ignores you.
He's really not a dictator, unlike how you were, so it's weird that you keep throwing that around like it means anything.
He lets people do pretty much whatever, rather than having to fret over if the admin is overseeing the site enough to act out like a crazy person.
He's happy to have you as mod because you sit here 12 hours a day responding to every thread trying to keep it alive free of charge. You have 30,000 posts Turncoat. You are sick.
Again you act like this takes hours of work to do, rather than checking a tab in between other things.
There have been times that required harder work, but I haven't really had to do almost any of that since Meta took over and proved to be a superior admin to you in every way imaginable.
When I ran this place, it was a passion project and I put my heart into it. I also recruited my brother to help me. I cared what you guys thought of me and worked hard to win your favor. Good can barely summon the motivation to add a like button unless you patreon him 100 bucks.
Honestly your forum was shit, at most being novel for it's mistakes. The only thing keeping it together was it's userbase, and now that you've lost that you can't rebuild properly.
