no I am going through the process of individiation which means being set apart from the community since I am going to be a healer that means that all of the information that I need is going to come from spirit and not from other people except for my training soo I will be mentored by a specific someone along the way

I am still getting emotion code healing sessions and going to have some soul retrieval sessions done on me soon in the meantime though so you are right I am not doing it completely on my own but coming to peace with having a calling that does not fit into the mainstream very well feels isolating sometimes
I mean it used to be more respected of a career, but even back then the shamen-to-be were usually isolated from their communities before they learned to heal themselves lol It is kind of fucked up but it makes sense if they were taking on the role of a scapegoat in a way which has been my experience
