I have recently come to realize that it really matters how smart you are because smart people can have discussions and not feel threatened, but dumb people think you’re attacking them if you ask them to explain how they came to a conclusion or if you try to explain something to them logically.

It’s really devastating to not have anyone to talk to because they can’t just talk and try to understand, but instead need to be correct. I just can’t take it anymore, honestly. I think Chapo has the right idea. I might look into it. 

 I experienced this in seminars in college all the time. People claimed they were attacked when questioned on their ideas. I also discovered I was considered “too East Coast”.

How can you think it means you passed the test when the page even clearly says that they'll need to review your prior evidence?
