Sagittarius tends to take one or few things that they take very seriously and then try to apply them to everything.

 This is Alice 100%

Mathematics, Logic, Computer Science, and Philosophy to name them.

There's an eerie physical similarity to the composition of your Sun/Moon people:

I swear it's like an upper bridge pinch at the nose that makes the eyes seem slightly more spaced apart, and a lot of them have the same smile and eye signature. Some of it's just classic Sag features, but not all of it.

one of my favorite things about astrology is when i meet someone who is somewhat into it and they feel uneasy to tell me about my sign once they learn it

so they don't offend me or something, it is quite funny

Cheery bye!

They don't feel like being stuck defending a thing that sounds to the layman like Star-Nonsense, it becomes a redundant conversation pretty quickly. They also always try to demand that people guess their sign and then judge the entire field of study over if they get it right or not.

For those of lower tenacity it can also make them doubt the thing they spent so long pouring their time into.

Here's someone ballsy enough to try to do it with a room full of strangers:

His reading of Aquarius was a dagger to the heart.

Nah, they just like to say good things about people, but when they talk about scorpio it's like "You are the worst, sorry sorry". I don't go on a philosophical discussion over the validity.

I met a guy on the internet who is very good at astrology. When I say this I do not really know if I believe fully in it. When I say that he is very good at it I mean that he is not just an esoteric person, a scammer etc, but has studied it in legitimate ways for 20 years etc. Recently I consulted him with a very bad health problem and he told me after some days when he made his calculations almost exactly why and when it started and when it will get better. He was completly and accurately right about when it started which was not obvious and this month it became much better (it is exactly when he said it would). It could still be placebo of course, but I was quite sceptic and also forgot a bit about his consultation which was a few months ago. I also did not do what he adviced me to do (wear a specific gemstone to help with bad planetary influence).

This made me more curious and I am planning to consult him in general. Lets see what I get. Do you believe in astrology? The guy seems to be using mainly the hindu/vedic and chinese system.

Didn't you say he was a scammer? Why would you consult a scammer?

Within the first two minutes of watching Pretend It's a City on Netflix I knew Fran Lebowitz's signs. It felt so obvious that it became glaringly distracting:
