This forum is not interesting enough in general for the people that can get over it, however. You need drama seekers and drama creators to create content. Then you can get the more normal interesting people and once they are involved and create social relations with others, you can expel the drama creators and the content will flow.

Plenty of people love hearing about it however, and again, in my case were mostly demotivated over how much work it'd be to catch up on all the pre-established lore. It's like jumping into a show at season six.

I might also tend to pull at more creative people with a better understanding of the human condition. By making it about Psychology it begins to sound like a well of information over the abnormal.

I just don’t think this is the problem. Pretty sure it has to do with the fact that there are some people with otherwise unheard of levels of toxicity.

I gave warnings and they'd shrug it off as if they've seen that kind of thing in their own forums or messaging spaces already, even a couple of Australians I'd met while in Japan basically gave me the same response.

Maybe it’s the reason they don’t join but it wouldn’t be the reason they don’t stay.

I'm surprised you're the one at this point being like "It's soooo toxic", when you're mostly just facing people calling you out for your own quotes.

Okay you’re right. This place is not so toxic, thanks for the insight.

I will now immediately find these toxic forums your friends are using and cry myself to sleep from the abuse. Kiwi farms is quite toxic, not much else is even remotely close to the level of this forum. Have never found 4chan or any of that crap to be very interesting or toxic.

There are more toxic places on discord. However, they have no value at all. It is just shit posts. And they get banned.

Cheery bye!

My point is less so over if the forum is/isn't toxic, and more over your room to do it.

Pretty sure many of the ones you'd call toxic are law abiding citizens.
