You have a very keen radar for morality. You have a functioning Bullshit detector. Now you might knee jerk and shoot first, that's really you feeling around and waiting for more data for you to sniff. Whatever bullshit surfaces you'll call it out in a seemingly intuitive way. For example while you were on Ed's side, you'd call him out for his foolery, as you call out others to date. With me you're doing something else, and I'm not the one you're trying to impress either.

They do want to charge into burning buildings, this job speaks out to adrenaline types who enjoy using destructive equipment. There's even been past cases of their fire chiefs secretly being the ones to start the fires. They're not Doctors, they're trained Deconstruction Workers.
My dad volunteered for that for a little while, they're an interesting bunch. I could totally see an ex-Firefighter becoming a professional thief with what they learn about B&E even down to picking locks.

I can see the appeal in riding on the back of a truck in the open air, and putting out large flames with a powerful hose. But there are limits to that. Also, whenever there's a horrible accident it's the fireman that has to scrap bodies off the pavement.
Of course explosions like this are, ultra rare. Same with any fire really.

Yeah those stories get kinda emotional.
They signed up to save lives and break shit, they don't usually sign up to look at a corpse. They really ought to have some sort of desensitivity training for these people, I mean they're often volunteers.

Even before averaging the ones who die in action for offsetting that lifespan average, I'd figure that from many of them being adrenaline junkies. They're kind of like if Marines were less dedicated and more responsible, the job speaks out to certain types of people.
That being said I've also seen female firefighters do just fine, if anything they try harder. They still have to be able to get through the training which does tend to make them more fit, plus the sort of person that the job appeals to tends to hit the same archetypes across both genders.

Any basis for that false number you made up at the top of your head. I’d honestly think it’s closer to 9%. Anytime a relationship fails, blame definitely has to fall more on the woman, logically. At the very least it was more her fault 100% of the time.
