How long did you usually sleep before month?

depends when i fall asleep. if i go to sleep at like 1/2am i wake up in exactly 7 hours

if i go to sleep at 8/9pm i wake up at 12/1am completely and utterly awake.

My ideal number of hours for sleep is ~5 which is what I currently achieve.

While I was getting my bachelors in CS for several years I was an insomniac, this initially began as a side effect to a speed habit.

The longest period I have gone without any sleep is a 4 days with microsleeps that where more or less spacing out, but before and after my average sleep period was 1-2 hours. My longest period doing that was several months, and that would regularly come in cycles followed by a month or so of 5 hours sleep days.

I have no problem with going to sleep, I just like being awake. When my alarm goes off at 5:30 am I am awake, i can get up instantly and as soon as I get downstairs and flip the light switch on to make Peach coffee sleepiness has warn off. When I bring Peach her coffee I often get back in bed to scroll for a bit until she is literally out of bed (if I go to my study she will never get up I fear), plus I like laying next to her for while awake because I miss her when she goes to work.

I recently researched this stuff for someone.

It's required for our brains to cool down for us to fall asleep. If that isn't happening, then you could try to cool the environment more.

If you ever experienced muggy nights and it's fucking hot with no air conditioning, then you know for a fact you're not sleeping.

I personally have trouble sleeping too. I don't sleep every 16 hours. I don't really have a daily routine atm, and I time shift.

When I sleep during the day it'll be in the morning till noon.

If I'm to sleep every 16 hours then i have to have an active day. I once had a Job where I'd be on my feet 11 hours a day and I had 0 issues sleeping.

While I was doing that I got another job on the side. I went several months on 1-2 hours of sleep. That's coming home at 4AM, and out the door at 6AM. Only to be on my feet for 11 hours, before going back to the other job.

Trust me when I say. If you're having difficulty sleeping, you're not active enough. This is why I don't sleep every 16h. I especially don't sleep when the crypto market is booming, cause unlike the stock markets, this market never sleeps cause it's world wide. When this happens I'll do 2 days before I faceplant, my record is 3 days. Now i cannot do 3 days.

If you by any chance ran a marathon, or ran as much of it as you could, you'll sleep easy that night. If you're conked, your brain will get that cooldown, if you have energy you'll have difficulties.

Your having trouble getting up cause you're not sleeping enough. You must exercise more.

For some, running ends up exhausting the body but not the mind.

If anything I slept less back when I exercised more, not really sure why.

We took a break from the gym for the holidays, but shall be returning soon. When we first joined I slept like a rock for the first few nights so there may be something to this.

 Of course. Get conked.

Do a little something extra today. Power walk or something, 10 girly pushups. Or do something so you have to catch your breath and leave it at that.
