I did ask a couple times for donations. I never really got any though. I think in total I made about 700 dollars from SC members.

But keep in mind my brother and I kept SC running for 6 years, and our server costs were 100 dollars each month

Good and I really are not the same. Good refuses to build SC2 because it says it takes too much effort. Meanwhile my brother and I re-made SC 3 times over. It was not SC users that motivated us. It was our own desire to build good forum software.

In the 6 years time we spent building and rebuilding SC, I estimate it would have cost near 100k+ to pay a programmer team to put in the hours Michael and I did

I was always so excited to try new ideas. I could care less about the senate. We spent months and months building out our reputation and senate system with no expectation of earning anything from it

to add to this, I will say that building SC and the years I spent running it was really fun and I am privalaged to have had the chance. It will forever be a huge part of my life. I matured from a kid to an adult dealing with you guys <3

it makes me sad to see Good take such a privalage to have his software tested, and waste it with laziness and begging for small amounts of money in exchange for improvements

some day when I have money to do advertising I will start my own forum again and do it all again because it was that fun

You never gave that user his blue name, ffs that should have been easy.

It's weird that you are selling people features to the site you own.

Like at the end of the day, you will profit from the software that gets made, so why would others pay you to build your own software

and it's pathetic to see you quoting SC members we who all know are super broke with hundreds of dollars for features.

For the hundreds you are asking, users could go on Fiverr and pay some Paki to build the entire forum with the features you describe from the ground up

You are just showing how poor you acting this desperate for money

I don't profit from this website. It is a waste of money, time, and effort for me to make this website, developer-wise. I have far more interesting projects to make. This one is a finished project. It has 2 issues that are fixable, and since i know they are, i have no motivation to do it.

If it has more traffic and more people, I might be more interested in working on it again, but there are 5 people here, why would I waste my time like this?

I couldn't care less how I seem or w/e else your narc is projecting.

So you have made more money than I have and I have run the forum for 6 years as well. I have been payed by Chapo only. I have been paid by others to host a forum like this one for them, but that is mainly for the hosting fees.

It should be 300k+ per programmer for a normal workday with a 25$ per hour wage, for 6 years. Which btw is pretty low for a programmer's wage, at least here.

the take away from this is that I enjoyed working for the SC community and I wish you did too but then again I was a kid so I had a lot of time on my hands lol

If i didnt have to work, i would have time to work on SC. But I have to prioritize what I do in my free time. I enjoy it, but there are more fun things instead. So yes i agree with you in general.

let us help you code then.

Who knows maybe TC will turn from a loser mod into an elite coder if you give him the chance

I do not want to give people access to my code, unless I trust them. You can steal it. It is not a big deal, but it will leave a bad taste in my mouth.

I didn't even like ur design, the others insisted. I personally used my own theme for 6 years.

I would be flattered if ppl used mine too tho. But not if they steal it, only if they replicate it, it is different.
