How much do you require to make a real search feature that doesn't need high levels of autistic date setting magic? I have a PhD but I'm too retarded to use this properly maybe it's not on me?
This means i need to learn a new kind of technology, which will take me a lot of time. I will reduce that amount by half, since i will keep the knowledge. However, it will take me some time to implement it after that. So $1549.

Make it easier to use: make boxes to check. One with past month, past 6 month, one year, 2 years.. and by ticking the box it automatically sets the time frame.

For the hundreds you are asking, users could go on Fiverr and pay some Paki to build the entire forum with the features you describe from the ground up
