On that note, I'm the 2nd of 3 boys, while my Father had another child with another woman I met later in life. So now there are 4 of us. My older Brother hates it cause he's in the middle with me. He literally refuses and insists he's the oldest. It's pretty mental.
Being the youngest one i always got away with shit and to this day i remain the baby in my tiny immigrant family structure.
ironically my brother is more of a child than me, so im curious to see how our dynamic will look like if we ever visit our folks simultaneously again

middle of 5 is between 4th and 2nd.
Heck, 2nd kid is between 1st and 3rd. When you go more than 3 the middle kids adopt sone traits of either older or younger siblings stereotypes

well, if he's the oldest of your mother's children he still has that claim. Also not growing up with an older sibling would give him the oldest mindset

He argues with our half sibling he's older. She's the one that tells me about it.
