So you'd turn down immortality if given the chance? 

I wrote a whole fucking response. But internet crashed and it got erased.

Tldr life is awesome but sleep is even more awesome which makes me excited for death when I get older.

My ultimate point is. People are caught in a rat race. What is the point of the rat race when you die and everything you ever achieved means nothing in the end.

The saying goes: you can't take money to your grave.

But you can pass it on. But passing it on is not as like you are alive and spending it. So in practicality life is just one big hurdle then we die. We live to die essentially.y 

My ultimate point is you can't take your money to the grave with you. Or a better way of putting it. You can't spend money when your dead.

I'd like to live for a long ass time, like a LONG ass time, but not forever. Like I'd go into slumber for a few millennia, come back and see what's new.
