Where did I even say I had to be full-blown hungry? 

It's more like cutting back compared to my older eating, like sticking to one or two sandwiches rather than eating three to four. My metabolism is a hole in the pocket if I let it be, even with a regular joe's income.

 How did you season it? I think the last time we roasted in the over we marinated in a brine for a day first.

My folks handled it, so I'll have to ask them. Judging from the flavor it was probably something pretty basic, but it still hit the spot. 

The prep for it began the day before's all I really know. 

Apparently it was a butter and garlic salt rub, not much else was really done to it. 

I used the injectable spices so the seasoning gets into the meat better. man oh man.
