I hate those reminders of our mortality. Sometimes I feel like if I were to pull the thread and really unravel how fragile and ephemeral our existence is, I'd literally go insane.

Trying to be, and with age it seems easier.
Do you have any goals in life?
Even since I was a kid my goal was to just live comfortably and at peace, but otherwise right now I'm trying to keep those simple by following a rough routine.
I mostly just want to get better at basic things like food prep, take up martial arts again, find some new people maybe from within the hobbies I have now, and then once I have enough together again I can start questioning if it's worth finding a new partner or not, probably from a kink community this time around.
Incidentally my brother just died by slipping on soap in the shower and falling backwards.
That's messed up, how are you handling the loss not really having anyone to blame or whatever?
