yeah i have a weird mental hangup with other women and i know this is because a lot of the abuse that happened to me as a child and in high school was mainly at the hands of other women...

In general guys will treat you better than women.

from past experience i agree. i have 1 female friend. my best friend. shes my grandmother's age and she has cancer. but shes a delight and i am flying across the ocean to see her again soon. i think her and i are soulmates as far as friendship is concerned. she is a rare exception. is she perfect? oh fuck no. but her and i share all the same flaws. and all the same good traits to.

Is it weird that I've tended to have fairly equally gendered friend groups?

Maybe so much of why people mystify the other gender so much is as simple as their peer groups, or maybe it's because I'm fine with the friendzone while others aren't?

In person too though?

Like I didn't really have groups of just one gender I hung out with, that seems weird.

non autistic men, especially in a location like yours with the social culture being how it is there, and have lived in one place for a large portion of your life- tend to have friends of BOTH sexes. having friends of both sexes is the norm.

So is it just that people who only have one gender for their friends can't shut up about it?

or is it just that you dont understand people as well as you think they do, my dear "clever" turncoat.

you seem a little like your buttons have been pushed, hm?

maybe when you were trying to push someone elses buttons, somebody decided to prod at yours a bit and you were so busy trying to find a button to push. you didnt even notice that someone was pushing yours.

This doesn't seem related, we were talking about how gender segregation plays upon friendgroups.

I don't know about you but I'm just trying to have a conversation. If you decide to say weird shit I'm just going to roll with it as having come from you.

You mean this?

non autistic men, especially in a location like yours with the social culture being how it is there, and have lived in one place for a large portion of your life- tend to have friends of BOTH sexes. having friends of both sexes is the norm.

First off since when was Ohio progressive enough to not be prone to gender segregated groups?

Secondly how would you know if my friend groups would or wouldn't become more segregated if I moved somewhere new? When I've met new people on the road, at my old jobs, or back when I was in college and exchanged info the groupings tended to not lean one way nor the other.

maybe when you were trying to push someone elses buttons, somebody decided to prod at yours a bit and you were so busy trying to find a button to push. you didnt even notice that someone was pushing yours.

They aren't average though so much as average enough, which tends to mean they know how to blend in.
