(i have enougn grasp to know you dont understand a lot of people here, and i know you dont understand me, and im a person, yet you think you do. if you dont understand that as well as you think, what else dont you get?

Key words: A lot of people here, on a website for people who tend to not be neurotypical, in text form.

It's not like this forum is real life, in person people give off hundreds of cues while on here we're forced to try to factor how unreliable the narrator is from past hints and clues.

people here are easier to understand than neurotypicals out there, what do you mean?

They aren't, that's just you struggling that much with neurotypicality. When outside of a typical range you have to look harder for consistency patterns in their behavior, rather than being able to lean towards convention.

I also haven't been given the impression that you really understand people here beyond the room to parrot what they've said. A lot of subtext kinda breezes by you and lends to you responding to their posts... strangley

 "strangely"

im listening.

You take them very literally...

You also sort them into camps based on if they made you feel good or bad, which has led to some confusion when people in the past who've hurt you have followed up with being nice to you.

song and dance is stupid. almost feels like the people are not real just robots

It's the way of the world, and your struggle with it is inhibiting your potential.

I personally got a lot of it down from theater training. With Acting they teach you to look at how people behave and learn to model off of it to portray similar characters, which is a great foundation for Psychology further along. They have you look at their posture, their cadence, literally their 'song and dance' they have through life.

Are you happy now?

Some understanding of convention is helpful for socializing. While things like small talk can feel like a waste of time, it helps push other areas along that can make things feel less lonely.

Communication is one of the biggest parts of success these days, but if you had enough capital you could hire people to do those parts for you.

That comes from not having the room to relate to core concepts that grant them social cohesion, over how you'd have to do more work to accomplish it than they did.

i dont know, and im not saying that to prove a point i really dont know. but what i do know, is that doing that would not help me be any happier, and it would make me less happy.

Being able to talk to people more easily and having an easier time making friends would make you less happy?

So in other words it's too hard so it's not worth doing? You'd rather do things that are easy?

not THOSE people. people i LIKE. like my husband, or my brother. or the muslim people from the halal market next door.

i never understood the fucking term small talk, its talk there is no size its a fucking conversation not a lady bug on a planet

yes. and im happy with that. do zombie survivalists run from problems? fuck yeah they do, and it works. wtf is wrong with running? nothing. its good exercise.

no. thats cherry picking a part of what im saying and leaving a lot out, its misleading. I'd rather do things that are more beneficial to me per bit of effort and time, as anyone would. That's how everything succeeds from plants to animals to fungi to companies to factories to people. less input with more output is just a better formula.
